According to reports, India targeted civilian areas in Muridke, Bahawalpur, and Azad Kashmir in a late-night attack, despite failing to present concrete evidence linking Pakistan to the incident in Pehelgam. The attack follows a digital crackdown by India, which included bans on Pakistani YouTube channels and celebrity Instagram accounts.
Pakistan responded swiftly, with its forces downing several Indian Air Force jets within the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) region, according to early military reports.
