The price of gold in Pakistan and globally continued to witness a decline for the second consecutive session.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by another Rs1,400 on Wednesday to reach Rs355,200. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,201, taking it to Rs304,526.
The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce declining by $14 to reach $3,325.
The silver prices in Pakistan also followed the trend, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver declining by Rs96 to reach Rs3,935, and the price for 10 grams of silver going to Rs3,373.
