A day after maintaining its record high, the price of gold saw a massive decline in Pakistan and globally.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs4,100 on Thursday to reach Rs384,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs3,515, taking it to Rs329,218.
The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce dropping by $36 to reach $3,618.
The silver prices in Pakistan also saw a similar trend, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver decreasing by Rs32 to reach Rs4,326.
