The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 in Pishin district for 15 days, citing security concerns and the need to maintain public order, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department, the restrictions will remain in effect until November 20.
Under Section 144, a ban has been placed on displaying weapons, holding rallies, sit-ins, or gatherings of more than five people in the district. The administration said the step was taken to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure law and order.
Authorities have directed law enforcement agencies to strictly enforce the ban, warning that violators will face legal action under the relevant provisions of the law.
