PTI chairman calls of withdrawal of MPs’ allowances

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has called for withdrawal of allowances to the parliamentarians to allow reduction in prices of petroleum products.

Talking to newsmen outside the Parliament House in Islamabad on Friday, Gohar Ali Khan said completing quorum in the National Assembly is the responsibility of the incumbent government.

The PTI Chairman said that millions of rupees were being spent on one session of the parliament but nobody comes here willingly.

He further said “It is not good to slip away after marking the attendance.”

Gohar said that all allowances of the parliamentarians should be withdrawn immediately.

He said that prices of petroleum products must be decreased and relief should be provided to the people before the announcement of the Budget 2026-27.
