Amber Khan preaches on online negativity in digital content creation: ‘Avoid using abusive language or mockery’

Pakistani actress and host Amber Khan has shared her candid views on the growing culture of virality and online criticism in today’s digital age.

Appearing on the FHM Podcast hosted by Adnan Faisal, she reflected on how social media has amplified emotions, opinions, and controversies, making everyone eager to go viral even at the cost of respect and sensitivity.

During the conversation, she stated: “ye jo 2026-year hai na iss key andar jo jo dilon mein aap ke ghubaar bhara tha naa who nikal kar bahir aya hai.” (This year, 2026, all the emotions and frustrations that had been buried in your hearts finally came out).

She added: “Dunya bhar mein aapko dekha jaarha hai to caliber bhi rakho naa, ek dosry ki baith ky dhajiyan uraah rahay aisa nhi kro, ek tareeka hota hai.” (The whole world is watching you, so maintain some caliber and dignity. Don’t sit around tearing each other apart like this there’s a proper way to do things).

Levelling up the discussion, the host Adnan stated: “Ache se point of view dedo, gandi language mimicry, jo koi jo kar rha hai han society damage na kare” (Present your point of view respectfully. Avoid using abusive language or mockery. Whatever anyone chooses to do, it should not harm or negatively influence society).  She replied: “ek fun element aalag hai, magar direct ap kisi ki dil azaari kar rahay ho sirf ek apny views ky liye , apny viral hony k liye , bas ek jung chal rhi hai ky mein viral ho jaou aur ye baat galat hai.” (Having a fun element is one thing, but directly hurting someone’s feelings just for views or to go viral is wrong. It feels like there’s a race going on where everyone only wants to become viral, and that is not right).

Many social media users applauded her point of view calling it fact.

One of the users wrote: “Interesting conversation”

Another added: “That is so true”

Another stated: “People have become very self centered”
