Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi has issued a strong warning to the United States. He said Iran is fully prepared to respond if any new aggression is launched against the country. He added that Iran learned many lessons during the recent conflict and would give a stronger and more surprising response in the future.
In a statement shared on social media, Araghchi claimed that the US Congress had finally admitted the scale of losses suffered during the war against Iran. According to him, dozens of advanced fighter jets worth billions of dollars were destroyed during the fighting. He also claimed that Iran became the first country to shoot down America’s highly advanced F-35 fighter aircraft.
The Iranian foreign minister said these developments proved the strength and preparedness of Iran’s armed forces. He added that Iran would not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and national security against any foreign attack.
Meanwhile, tensions increased further after statements made by the US Central Command regarding an attack in the Iranian city of Minab. American officials claimed the targeted school building was located near a missile launching site linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards.
Reacting strongly to the allegation, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei rejected the American claims. He described them as baseless, fabricated, and completely false. He said the attack targeted a school located in a civilian area during school hours.
Baghaei stated that innocent students and teachers were present inside the building when the strike happened. According to Iranian officials, at least 170 people were killed in the attack, including children and school staff.
The Iranian spokesman accused the United States of violating international law and committing a serious crime against civilians. He demanded that those responsible for the attack should be brought before international courts and held accountable.
Iranian officials also called on the global community and human rights organizations to investigate the incident independently. They said attacks on schools and civilians could not be justified under any circumstances.
