“I’m a different kind of perfectionist. Some people prepare extensively and perform well because of that, but I am the kind of perfectionist who performs best under pressure. If you put me in a situation where I have limited time to prepare and deliver, I usually end up doing very well.”
The actor went on to share how this mindset has been with him since childhood.
“I think it’s the way I’ve been wired since I was young. During exams, I was the kid who wouldn’t study throughout the year. About ten days before exams, I’d ask my friends what was going on. They would explain everything to me, and then I’d spend the following days teaching the same lessons back to them. Through teaching, I would learn the entire course myself and still end up getting good grades.”
