Pakistan Test captain Babar Azam has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing three-day practice match at Kent County Cricket Club after being struck on the right hand while batting on the second day.
According to the team management, Babar was assessed by the team doctor following the incident.
As a precautionary measure, he has been advised to rest for the remainder of the practice match.
Babar is expected to return to training with the Pakistan team on Monday, Aug. 17, at Headingley Cricket Ground.
