LAHORE: Naeb Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Liaquat Baloch said on Saturday that the last round of negotiations between the government and the party on the reduction of petroleum levy would be held next week.
In a statement, he said that the government would have to provide relief to the masses. “In case, this does not happen, there will be a long march from Multan towards Islamabad,” he said, adding, “Prior to the long march, there will be public gatherings in Quetta, Mirpurkhas, Bahawalpur, Mansehra and Sargodha.”
Baloch said that committees had been constituted for making arrangements for the march.
