RAWALPINDI: A special medical team from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) arrived at Adiala Jail on Saturday and conducted separate medical examinations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, according to jail sources.
The medical team included PIMS doctors Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Arif, along with paramedical staff.
Both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi underwent comprehensive medical check-ups, follow-up examinations and necessary medical tests.
During the medical team’s visit, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi also met and enquired about each other’s health and well-being.
After completing the medical examinations, the special medical team departed from the jail.
Jail sources said Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were subsequently shifted to separate blocks.
