Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervez Malik held a meeting with Kuwait’s Minister of Finance and Chairman Kuwait Investment Authority, Dr. Sabih Al Khazim, in which both dignitaries agreed to enhance Kuwait investment in Pakistan, it was reported on Wednesday.
During the meeting, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and the strategic partnership.
He said that the Kuwait Investment Authority is ready to invest in Pakistan. Both dignitaries agreed to further promote Kuwait’s investment in energy, trade, and investment.
Ali Pervez Malik said that the Government of Pakistan is taking measures to provide more facilities to foreign investors.
Later, Ali Pervez Malik held a meeting with Chairman Meezan Bank Pakistan, Riaz Al Darasi. He said that Meezan Bank set an example to promote foreign investment in Pakistan.
Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik met with Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Economic Development Walid Shamlan Ahmed.
Ali Pervez Malik said that overseas Pakistanis are playing a vital role in strengthening the economy.
Later, Gulf Petroleum hosted a dinner in honor of Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik.
Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik visited Kuwait this week, meeting with top Kuwaiti officials and attending a dinner hosted by prominent businessman Shamshad Khan Tanoli, where he addressed the Pakistani community living in the country.
