PTI prepares major protest, KP CM Sohail Afridi to lead from special container

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has started preparations for a large-scale protest. The party is reportedly planning significant public demonstrations in the near future.

A special container has been prepared for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi. The container is 40 feet long and includes a washroom and a seating area. The words “Azadi Ya Maut” (Freedom or Death) are prominently displayed on the container. It is expected to serve as the central stage for the chief minister during the protest.

Party sources said that Sohail Afridi has held several meetings with key PTI leaders. The discussions focused on protest strategies, including the location, timing, and operational plan. Party leadership continues to consult on the final announcement and date for the protest. Party workers have been instructed to remain prepared.

A video has emerged showing CM Sohail Afridi inspecting the specially prepared container. PTI National Assembly member Shahid Khatak said the container in Peshawar is fully ready. He added that Afridi will take his seat on the driving console of the container during the protest.

Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar clarified that party founder Imran Khan has not issued any orders to march towards Islamabad. Reports about moving the container to the capital are incorrect, he said.

Gohar added that Imran Khan has delegated decision-making authority to Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas. He stated that the choice of pursuing negotiations or resistance will remain at the discretion of opposition leaders.
