Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand to exchange views on recent developments, including the US-Iran negotiations held during the Islamabad Talks, it was reported on Tuesday.
During the telephonic conversation on Monday night, Foreign Minister Anita Anand appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating the dialogue.
Underscoring the importance of all parties adhering to a ceasefire, DPM Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continuing its support for dialogue and diplomacy.
Both foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact.
