Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh met World Bank President Ajay Banga in Washington and presented him the official Trionda football manufactured in Pakistan.
The World Bank President praised the Pakistan-made sports products especially the Trionda football.
On the occasion, the ambassador said the high quality of Trionda and its selection for FIFA 2026 are a unique distinction and source of pride for Pakistan. He said Pakistan is playing a key role in bringing the international community closer to each other through sports.
The ambassador said the trust and cooperation of the international community is very encouraging for Pakistan’s sports industry. He said Pakistan’s famous city Sialkot is known across the world for manufacturing high quality sports products.
The ambassador acknowledged the significance of long-term partnership between Pakistan and the World Bank and underscored making ongoing and future projects fruitful through mutual cooperation.
