Several terrorists were sent to hell by the security forces during effective intelligence-based operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision in the Lakki Marwat area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, it was reported on Tuesday.
According to security sources, multiple hideouts of Fitna al-Khwarij terrorists were destroyed during intelligence-based operations in Lakki Marwat.
A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other equipment was recovered from the killed terrorists.
The sources further said that reports also indicate that several terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khwarij were injured during the operation.
They said every effort is being made during the operations to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the local population and to avoid any harm to civilians.
Security sources reaffirmed that the security forces will continue operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until lasting peace is established and terrorism is eliminated.
