All bank branches across Pakistan will remain open on Saturday, May 8, the State Bank of Pakistan announced Tuesday.
The decision has been taken to fulfill banking needs of the masses, the central bank said in a statement.
All bank branches will deal with the public from 9am to 2pm, it added.
The federal government has announced Eid holidays from May 10 to May 15.
Banks will reopen on Monday, May 17.
