A young man who was riding a motorcycle died when a speeding dumper crushed him in Lahore on Friday.
The incident took place near Nishtar Colony area of Lahore. Rescue sources said that the identity of the motorcyclist was yet to be ascertained.
Soon after receiving the report, police and Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and arrested the driver of the dumper.
The Rescue team handed over the body of the motorcyclist to the police. Later, police started legal proceedings against the driver of the dumper.
Earlier on October 29, 2025, a 19-year-old delivery rider was killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding dumper truck near Garden Town Underpass in Lahore.
The victim was identified as Faizan, a resident of Rehmanpura, who worked as a Food Panda delivery boy. Eyewitnesses said the dumper was moving at high speed when it ran over the motorbike, leaving the young rider fatally injured.
After the incident, the driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle.
