Pakistani actress Mahira Khan participated in the Pakistan Conference held at Harvard University, describing the experience as both “honourable” and deeply transformative.

The conference was organised by the Pakistan Students Association at Harvard. It aimed to bring attention to key issues affecting South Asian communities and to encourage meaningful dialogue across politics, business, academia, and creative industries.

Mahira Khan said she felt proud to represent Pakistan on such a prestigious international platform. She added that speaking at Harvard was a memorable moment where she represented both herself and her country with pride.

Despite the extremely cold weather, she praised the warm and enthusiastic reception from students. She said their energy and hospitality made the event even more special and welcoming.

The actress further shared that her presence at Harvard was one of those rare life moments that leave a lasting emotional impact. She described it as an experience that “changes a person from within.”

The conference also featured several notable personalities. Renowned fashion designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) and musician Faisal Kapadia attended the event. New York-based designer Faraz Zaidi also took part, sharing his creative journey and experiences with the audience.

The gathering concluded as a vibrant exchange of ideas, highlighting Pakistan’s cultural, creative, and intellectual presence on a global academic stage.
