Police expose alleged cocaine ring in Lahore case

Lahore police have made significant progress in an ongoing investigation involving alleged drug trafficker Anmol, widely known as Pinky, and her former husband Nasir. Investigators say the case has exposed details of a large narcotics network that reportedly operated across several major cities in Pakistan.

According to police officials, Nasir was allegedly involved in the drug trade along with his two brothers. Authorities said the three men arrived in Lahore several years ago and initially became involved in running guest houses. Investigators further claimed the group was also linked to illegal liquor activities during the early stages of their operations.

Police sources stated that the group later shifted towards narcotics trafficking. Nasir, along with his brothers, a close friend, and his brother-in-law, allegedly established a cocaine supply network that gradually expanded in different parts of the country.

Investigative authorities revealed that Nasir allegedly trained Pinky in the preparation and handling of cocaine. Officials claim she later became an active part of the operation and played a role in supplying drugs to various cities, including Lahore, Karachi, and other urban centres.

According to investigators, the network continued to grow over time. Police believe the group shifted a major part of its activities to Karachi, where operations were allegedly expanded further due to wider connections and easier distribution channels.

Officials said the investigation also uncovered personal details related to the suspects. Authorities claim Pinky divorced Nasir in 2021 on the advice of a man identified as Rana Akram. Investigators are now examining whether the separation had any connection to internal disputes within the alleged criminal network.
