Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday said that the federal government would provide all possible assistance to the Sindh government for ensuring law and order and the elimination of drug smuggling in the province.
He was speaking to Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon in Karachi.
Praising the Sindh Police, he said that the Force had played a key role in the restoration of law and order in the province by demonstrating gallantry, professionalism and commitment in challenging circumstances.
He congratulated the Sindh minister on conducting successful operations against the dacoits of katcha area.
Speaking on the occasion, Memon said that effective coordination and collaboration between the federal and provincial governments was the best recipe for dealing with the challenges confronting the country.
He stressed the need for working together in matters of national interest.
The provincial minister, on the occasion, expressed his government’s resolve to continue to make efforts for the elimination of crimes, ensuring peace and protection of residents of the province.
Both ministers concurred that both the governments would increase contact with each other for the resolution of the issues confronting the masses.
