PTI founder’s applications yet to be fixed for hearing in Supreme Court

Applications filed by PTI founder Imran Khan regarding meetings with him and his transfer to a hospital could not be scheduled for a hearing in the Supreme Court, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.

The development came after PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja met Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi.

Speaking after the meeting, Salman Akram Raja said the applications concerning meetings with the PTI founder and his transfer to a hospital had not yet been fixed before the court.

He said, however, that he was assured during the meeting that the case would be scheduled for hearing after Eid.

The petitions concern requests for access to the PTI founder and his transfer for medical treatment, matters the party has raised on several occasions.

No date for the hearing has yet been announced by the Supreme Court.
