The Punjab government on Wednesday decided to launch “Global Investment and Gateway Project” at a cost of Rs2.60 billion so that investors could be persuaded to invest their money in the province.
As per the summary forwarded to the concerned officials in this regard, permission has been sought for appointments on 81new vacant posts.
In the first phase, 57 vacant posts will be filled, and later it will be enhanced to 81.
New directors, managers, assistant managers, and support staff will be hired.
Road shows will be held in the United States of America, China, Europe, and the Gulf countries. The relevant officials will hold direct talks with the investors.
The Punjab government will introduce the latest system, investor database, and service catalogue.
