China stands ready to work with Pakistan to continuously promote peace and advance dialogue, and keep making efforts for the early restoration of peace, stability, and development in the Middle East, it was reported on Wednesday.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi made these remarks in a phone conversation with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
Chinese FM lauded Pakistan’s sincere efforts for the restoration of peace and declared Pakistan a trustworthy mediator.
Wang Yi sought an immediate end to the war and urged all the parties to play their role in achieving peace in the region.
The Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Li said that the Ukraine and Gaza issues must be settled politically.
Pakistan to help safe return of 30 Iranian citizens
Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan will extend full cooperation in bringing back 30 Iranian fishermen and 22 crew members who will transit through Karachi.
The DPM said that Pakistan is in contact with Iranian, American, and British officials to ensure the safe return of Iranian citizens purely on human ground.
Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan will continue to provide all-out facilities to Iranian brothers in times of need.
