Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released details of vacancies for CSS 2025. According to FPSC, the recruitment process to be completed for a total of 327 posts.
191 new while 136 transferred posts from previous years included in the list. 169 seats reserved for open merit (including general merit) while 35 seats for women, 123 posts reserved for minorities.
Maximum 157 vacancies allocated for Punjab, 43 vacancies for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 30 vacancies for Sindh Rural, 28 vacancies allocated for Sindh Urban, 28 vacancies allocated for Balochistan.
16 vacancies allocated for former FATA, 7 vacancies for Azad Kashmir. According to FPSC, quota of 3 vacancies allocated for Gilgit-Baltistan. The vacancies included Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service, Foreign Service, Inland Revenue Service, Office Management Group and other services.
Provincial, regional, women, minority ratio was taken into account in the distribution of vacancies.
The quota system will be implemented as per the policy of Establishment Division. The final appointment of candidates will be based on merit position, candidate’s preferences and suitability by the commission.
