Nadra launches revamped website bringing all citizen services onto one platform

ISLAMABAD: National Database and Registration Authority has launched a revamped and modernised website, bringing a wide range of identity and registration services together on a single digital platform in a move aimed at improving accessibility and user experience.

The authority said the upgraded portal would offer a more organised and user-friendly interface, enabling citizens to access services related to national identity cards, National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis, Pakistan Origin Cards and Family Registration Certificates through one integrated system.

Officials said the redesigned website is intended to streamline citizen services while expanding digital access to information, support and registration facilities.

Among key additions, the platform now incorporates registration data and statistics through the nGRIDS system in map-based form, allowing users to access district-level comparisons related to census and registration trends.

A dedicated map gallery has also been introduced to support research, planning and data-driven analysis.

According to officials, the website now features national and provincial-level statistics and trends, while integrating a coordinated system for birth, death, marriage and divorce registration information.

Verification services for banks, telecom operators and government institutions have also been consolidated on the portal, reflecting efforts to improve digital coordination between public services and regulated sectors.

Nadra said citizen support channels, including call centre facilities, interactive voice response and email support, have also been strengthened to make assistance more effective.

The complaint registration and grievance redress mechanism has likewise been upgraded, with authorities saying users would be able to submit and track concerns more efficiently.

The authority has also modernised its careers portal, introducing a simplified online application process for job seekers.

In addition, the new website offers comprehensive guidance on Nadra’s nationwide and overseas service network, including information about registration centres and mobile registration vans.

Officials said citizens would now be able to access location details and service guidance from a single source, reducing the need for fragmented information searches.

The portal also includes updated Right to Information and Media Centre sections developed along modern lines to improve transparency and public engagement.

Authorities described the revamped platform as part of broader efforts to enhance digital governance and improve service delivery through technology-driven reforms.

The launch comes as government institutions increasingly move towards integrated online systems to expand public access and reduce procedural hurdles.
