ATC grants Aleema Khan relief in Nov 26 protest case

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi has approved a request filed by Aleema Khan seeking exemption from personal appearance in connection with the November 26 protest case.

The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah in a case registered at Sadiqabad Police Station. During the proceedings, the court reviewed developments in the matter before accepting her plea for exemption.

Following the approval, the court adjourned the hearing until May 11. The judge also directed that all witnesses be presented at the next hearing to ensure progress in the case.

Among those ordered to appear is Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, as the court aims to move forward with the proceedings in the coming session.
