A resolution on 75-year-old relations between Pakistan and China was passed in the National Assembly, it was reported on Wednesday.
The resolution was presented by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
A high-level parliamentary delegation led by the vice-chairman of the National People’s Congress of China has arrived at Parliament House, Islamabad.
The Chinese delegation participated in the proceedings of the National Assembly.
Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq welcomed the Chinese delegation.
Federal Minister Azam Nazir Tarar expressed his welcome remarks to the Chinese delegation.
The delegation members will also meet with various parliamentary officials and members, including Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
The delegation will discuss parliamentary ties, mutual cooperation and promotion of bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
The delegation will also observe the proceedings of the Upper House.
