EMRA honours the spirit of Marqa-e-Haq

LAHORE: The Electronic Media Reporters Association (EMRA) organized a grand ceremony at the EMRA Center, Lahore, to mark the completion of one year of Marqa-e-Haq (The Battle of Truth) paying rich tributes to the unmatched valor and professional excellence of the Pakistan armed forces.
A candlelight vigil was held in memory of the martyrs of May 9. Journalists from print, electronic and digital media participated in large numbers. Solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces was expressed on the occasion and tributes were paid to the ghazis and martyrs who had inflicted a crushing defeat on India.

The ceremony highlighted the resounding rejection of Indian aggression and a celebration of Pakistan’s resolute defence of its sovereignty during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos when the Pakistani forces proved themselves as an iron wall against nefarious designs, through a decisive response shattered Indian aggressive ambitions

Speaking on the occasion, EMRA President Asif Butt, senior analyst Naeem Mustafa, former EMRA secretary Malik Arshad Asim, Habib Chohan, Aamir Butt, Hafiz Abdul Rehman and other journalists said that today the entire nation was celebrating victory from Khyber to Karachi. The credit for the defeat that India faced goes to the Pakistani army.
The Pakistani nation would always be proud of the way Army Chief General Asim Munir broke Indian arrogance. The speakers said that the US president himself admitted India’s defeat and confirmed Pakistan’s position.
The rally participants marched from EMRA Center to Qazzafi Stadium, while candles were lit outside EMRA Center in solidarity with the martyrs of Pakistan.
