LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has extended the interim bail of former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in five cases linked to the May 9 incidents.
The hearing was conducted by Judge Manzar Ali Gul, who reviewed the bail applications filed by the former minister. During the proceedings, the court accepted one request seeking exemption from personal appearance.
After hearing the initial proceedings, the court extended Fawad Chaudhry’s interim bail until May 7. The judge also directed the lawyers to present their detailed arguments at the next hearing.
The cases are related to the violent events that took place on May 9, and further proceedings will continue on the next scheduled date.
