Two people lost their lives and four seriously injured when a speeding car went out of control, climbed onto the sidewalk and crushed a number of people sleeping on the footpath in Karachi, it was reported on Monday.
The incident took place near the Shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi in Clifton area of the megacity.
Soon after receiving the report, police and Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and shifted the injured and dead persons to Jinnah Hospital.
The identification of the deceased and the injured persons was still unknown.
