10 trucks seized in anti-smuggling operation in Quetta

A large number of smuggled cigarettes, tea and chalia were seized during joint operation by Frontier Corps (FC) North Balochistan and Customs in Quetta, it was reported on Saturday.

According to Collector Customs Enforcement Quetta, 10 trucks were seized in a major anti-smuggling operation and shifted to the Customs Warehouse.

The value of the items seized in the successful joint anti-smuggling operations is about Rs700 million.

In the last three weeks, goods worth billions of rupees have been seized in anti-smuggling operations.

The items seized in the last three weeks include more than 70 luxury vehicles, cigarettes, tea, clothes, chalia and drugs

On the instructions of the federal government and the military leadership, a crackdown is underway against the scourge of smuggling.

Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies will continue operations against smuggling.

Enemy elements will not be allowed to play with the country’s economy and national security.

Frontier Corps North Balochistan and Quetta Customs will continue their operations until the scourge of smuggling is completely eradicated.
