Pakhtoon Mohmand Loya Jirga distributes 4,000 Ramadan ration packages in Lahore

Lahore:A large welfare ceremony was organized in Shahdara, Lahore under the auspices of Pakhtoon Mohmand Loya Jirga on the blessed occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was held at a local marriage hall where a large number of deserving and underprivileged people from the area participated.

On this occasion, four thousand Ramadan ration packages were distributed among deserving families without any discrimination. During the ceremony, Chairman of Pakhtoon Mohmand Loya Jirga, Haji Sarfaraz Khan, while talking to the media, said that the ration is being distributed to their brothers in Punjab without any discrimination.

He stated that last year the organization distributed ration among 400 families, while this year the number has been increased to 4,000 families.
President of Pakhtoon Mohmand Loya Jirga Akbar Khan, founder Javed Khan, General Secretary Mahmood Safi and other social personalities also attended the event and distributed ration packages among deserving families.

Speaking to the media, President Akbar Khan said that the holy month of Ramadan is a time of compassion, brotherhood and sharing love. He added that their organization is a non-political welfare body that is continuously striving to serve poor and needy people.
Leaders of the organization stated that these welfare activities are carried out through self-help efforts so that deserving families can fulfill their basic needs with dignity during the holy month of Ramadan. General Secretary Mahmood Safi told the media that the organization will continue its mission of public service with the same spirit in the future.
On the occasion, Haji Sher Afzal also expressed his views and said that such welfare initiatives promote brotherhood, unity and mutual cooperation in society.
