Another lady constable was martyred in an armed attack, while her husband and son received serious injuries in Turbat on Saturday.
The terrorists of India-backed Fitna al-Hindustan have now started to target women, teachers and innocent people, said Special Assistant on Home Affairs to Balochistan government Babar Yousafzai.
According to police, the dead body of Lady Constable Shakila Suneel and her injured husband and son were shifted to a hospital.
Babar Yousafzai said terrorists attacked the brave daughter of Balochistan in front of her children which is “open terrorism”.
He said Shakila Suneel sacrificed her life for the motherland her sacrifice will not go in vain.
“The terrorist elements have reached near their logical end as the Balochistan people and the security forces are united against them,” he said and added, 31 rounds were fired on the family of the martyred lady constable.
It may be mentioned here that on April 20 last, two police officials, including a lady constable, were martyred when terrorists opened fire at a police party in Khuzdar.
The incident took place in Khuzdar’s sub-tehsil Baghbana where a police team had conducted a raid following a complaint about the theft of solar panels. During the operation, armed militants opened fire, triggering a heavy exchange.
Police confirmed that Head Constable Samiullah and Lady Constable Malik Naz were martyred in the attack while Additional SHO Ibrahim Sheikh and Constable Najeeb Ullah were critically wounded.
