People who had harassed Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Maulana Tahir Ashrafi during his recent tour to the UK have been identified, it was reported on Saturday.
It has emerged that PTI UK Chapter’s Maaz Malik was leading the men who had surrounded Ashrafi and questioned him.
Maaz is also the party’s UK Chapter’s deputy secretary youth.
Another name that has surfaced is that of Azhar Mashwani, who along with Maaz kept harassing the council chairman.
On the other hand, there are allegations against Maaz that he is involved in several illegal activities such as robbing people of their money, gambling and immoral acts.
There are also allegations against him that he blackmails women who attend PTI’s protest demonstrations by first taking them to his house and then making their objectionable videos.
Maaz has also been accused of receiving thousands of Pounds from Pakistanis living in the UK in lieu of getting them jobs.
